Happy Birthday Kimball!

We have known our dear friend Kimball since we were 8. The three of us were in the same 3rd grade class. Jared and Kimball became close friends throughout their elementary and secondary school careers. In mine and Jared's early married life, Kimball was a good friend and support to us. He turns 32 Saturday, May 7th and we would like to celebrate the person, friend, and "brother" he is by sharing some of our memories of Kimball.

Here are 32 reasons (in no particular order) why we love Kimball:

1) He was Kennedy's back-scratcher
2) His voice regularly woke up Kennedy in our little Provo house
3) He's a master political debater
4) He married a GREAT girl!
5)At the drop of a hat, he would be here if we needed him
6) His excitement is contagious
7) He got into Harvard
8) He invested in our business
9) He smirks when he is in trouble
10) He has good restaurant recommendations
11) He's an awesome story-teller
12) He knows John McGaw, Mr. Arnold, and Chip Curtis
13) He always compliments Kim's cooking
14) He lets Jared beat him in racquetball
15) He drives nice cars
16) He sticks up for the little guy
17) He thinks he can accomplish anything
18) He can accomplish anything
19) He came to the hospital to see all our kids after they were born
20) He participated in all our baby blessings
21) He started going by Kimball so that Kim could be the only Kim in the class (thoughtful huh?)
22) He was a killer doubles tennis partner in 7th grade
23) He can sing and dance to the calypso tune in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (and I have the video to prove it)
24) He had the coolest bike helmet when we were kids
25) He knows the beauty of Ramon Lakes
26) He survived Cougar Lake
27) He can sell you anything
28) Our girls love him so much they cried when he moved to Boston
29) He's a dedicated daddy (Jack and whoever comes next are lucky kids!)
30) He moved away but he still stays in touch
31) He knows how to serve
32) He's a never-fail, always got your back, loyal friend.
